More than probable that one volition be done to Uplay than steam equally it was published by Ubisoft, so that game won't come soon as all these games are published by Coaction ( a dissimilar company)

I am so disappointed with that game. I had believed that we would be getting a high rez Bridge Commander with an astonishing story that is Bethesda's trademark. What I got is a dumbed down space sim with a weak story despite getting the vox'due south of all the captains.

All battles came downwards to keeping the front of your ship pointed at your target while holding LMB and occasionally hitting RMB to burn a torpedo. Other then a slider for power distribution at that place was no subsystem control either...

To the lowest degree it was a skillful looking game.

Legacy was the only good game ever fabricated for Star Trek
all others just look ugly and are bad to play.

the other skillful Star Trek games were mods for other games.

Then Legacy could be a game you lot would play.

Bridge Commander was far amend than Star Expedition Legacy - Star Expedition Legacy is just an uprated Star Expedition Armada (which was a good game - and its almost the same code behind it :) ).

Bridge Commander doesn't await good now but lots of good mods and ship mods which make information technology look just as skillful as Legacy. (and far easier to install mods to it too), would be good if in that location was a newer game based on Bridge Commander as this was one of the best Star Trek games (bated from Star Trek Armada + Mods)

IIRC in that location was massive archiving when original about-1st-Apr closure was appear. (some five years agone?) So nigh likely a lot of mods are somewhere out there.

I think it well, but don't know what happened to the files. (I was a Network Admin for the network sites on Filefront for a long fourth dimension - non the new one - I as well ran the GTA / TF2 and Stargate Worlds i - the latter never released)

There is also this website where many of the members went also I believe.

From what I can tell, any remained of mods on FileFront should exist on Nexus Mods. When I have more tiome, I'll endeavour to dig up original archiving.
(I should have still my own copy of some mods, but I don't remember any for Star Trek games)

BTW: You all did quite good job at original FileFront. Was ane my favourite source of mods and news dorsum then.

So Legacy could be a game you lot would play.

Starfleet command 2 EAW and Orion Pirates were fantastic games. The depth of gameplay was smashing! The simply way ane could say those games were 'bad' is if they had not taken the time to learn how to play. Player strategy, organisation control and power management were the kings of those games and if you could not master them, you lot would get mauled (peculiarly online)

I so mush wish that they put Klingon University on Steam..

there are more neat star expedition games.i played bridge commander, birth of the federation, starfleet command 3,and elite force.i would like to play a new version of birth of the federation and elite force.i similar the armada games to

Concluding time I checked there were some fan modified engines for Elite Force. Possibly they improved rest of it too. (Elite Force had code open sourced)

That was not a cracking game. OK, merely nada special. Seriously dissapointing coming from Bethesda. I was expecting something like Mass Effect (the best Star Expedition game ;) ) but actually in Star Expedition. Or at least some kind of open world-ish thing. What we got was an incredibly arcadey, low tactics space shooter.

Last time I checked there were some fan modified engines for Aristocracy Strength. Maybe they improved rest of information technology as well. (Aristocracy Strength had code open sourced)

In that location's (or at least was) also a fan-continuation of Nascence of the Federation, although I didn't nevertheless get effectually to examination it.

Haven't checked for a while, but propably it's still there...

( Sadly they didn't add in the missing parts - considering BotF was done by the aforementioned company as Master of Orion 2, I guess they left out transport- and species-modification considering the license-holders didn't desire information technology in - which is bs, considering all the parallel-universe stuff in the ST series which certainly would have been sufficient every bit caption for such features. )
